Beats by Apple has announced its newest and first active noise canceling headphone, the Beats Solo Pro for $300 today.
The Solo Pro headphones feature Pure ANC noise canceling technology with added tuning to bring out the best in on-ear aspects. Apple says that advanced algorithms automatically adjust according to your listening environment.
With just one button you can disable the active noise canceling feature so you can hear announcements, become aware of your surroundings and converse with friends without having to pause or remove the headphones. Battery life is rated at 22 hours with features on, and 40 hours without. A quick 10-minute charge can provide up to 3 hours of music playback.
Beats Solo Pro will also have hands-free Siri, redesigned on-ear cushions, auto-on unfold mechanism and Audio Sharing on iOS 13 devices.
It will be available beginning October 30 and comes in Red, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Gray, Ivory and Black.
