On the September launch of the Apple Watch Series 5 the company made an error in the weight of both the Stainless Steel and Titanium models.
Apple Watch Series 5
Originally, Apple mentioned that the titanium model will be 45 percent lighter than the stainless steel version. Then, they said that the watch would have the same weight as the stainless model.
Those erroneous details have already been corrected. The Series 5 40mm titanium model will weigh 35.1 grams while the 44mm model will have a 41.7 gram weight, which is about 13% lighter compared to the stainless steel variants.
The Series 5 ceramic models weigh 46.7 grams and 39.7 grams for the 44mm and the 40mm models, respectively. The aluminum Series 5 watches weigh about the same as Series 4 models.
The first batch of Apple Watch Series 5 pre-orders should arrive September 20 along with the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11.
