Apple has opened a brand-new store in the Bay Area. Apple Hillsdale was relocated to San Mateo, CA and has replaced the Hillsdale Shopping Center store.

The new Apple Store gets the same upgrades as with the others- Avenue display shelving, a video wall and Today at Apple Forum. Hillsdale becomes the tenth out of 17 stores that have been renovated with contemporary upgrades.

For its opening day two windows were gift-wrapped with a ‘Welcome Apple Hillsdale’ message and a red-ribboned Apple logo.

Apple will have several more retail shops to complete before 2019 ends. In Canada, the first Apple Store in Eaton Centre is set to go live. In Japan, the tenth Apple Store will open at the Lazona Kawasaki Plaza. Both are expected to open to the public on December 14.

Apple now has more than 500 retail stores located all over the globe.
