Previously, Apple has mentioned that they intend to show original movies in theaters weeks before they become available in the Apple TV+ service. Today, we get to see release dates on three of its movies, The Elephant Queen, The Banker and Hala.
The Elephant Queen is a documentary movie set to be launched in theaters October 18. The Banker, featuring Mackie and Samuel L. Jackson as finance and real estate figures set within the Jim Crow era, will be shown December 6, with a TV showing in January. Hala is about a Muslim girl balancing modern life with family traditions. The movie is set to be released November 22 and have a later Apple TV+ showing in December.
Apple TV+ will be released to the public come November 1 and have a monthly price tag of $4.99 per month. It’s free for a year for those who recently bought a new iPhone, Mac, iPad or Apple TV.
