Apple’s ninth store in Japan and fifth in Tokyo is set to open to the public on September 7. Apple Marunouchi can be found at the Mitsubishi Building and sports a unique design, in accordance to Apple’s retail initiatives. It’s just one of the many Apple locations that’s part of the company’s expansion in Japan for 2019.
Earlier this month, the Apple logo was lighted and several billboards depicted the store’s opening via colorful lines to form Japanese characters and transit-themed graphics.

Apple Marunouchi creates a contemporary space for Today at Apple sessions in Central Tokyo. A set of calendar sessions, called Tokyo Creative Guild features local artists in the region and their inspiration. Slots are limited and quickly filled up.
New iPad, iPhone and Mac wallpapers have been released that show off the Marunouchi logo. There’s also a special animation on the retail website. You can see them on Apple’s official website.
