Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned in October that the Apple Card will soon have a 0% interest-free payment plans for iPhone purchases. Though there’s no exact release date for this, a recent update on the Wallet app reveals details for the iPhone financing offer.
Apple Card users will be able to get an iPhone of their choosing and have it spread out in 24-month payments with zero interest. The 3% daily cash will still be applied.
To get the complete information you can tap on the ‘Learn More’ link when at the payment window. A new section called ‘Apple Card Monthly Installments’ should be visible. Keep in mind that the monthly iPhone payment is added to the minimum monthly payment and won’t accrue interest as with the rest of the balance.
As for financing options on other products such as the iPad, Mac, etc., there’s no information on whether Apple will offer them as well.
