Audience’s Fall Detection Accidentally Goes Off on James Corden Late Night Show

A guest audience in ‘Late Late Show’ with James Corden accidentally triggered her Apple Watch Fall Detection feature, much to the amusement of the crowd and the host.

It happened during the trivia segment of the show, where the audience member answered the trivia question correctly. The siren alert of the Apple Watch was heard when the next person stood up to answer a trivia. The alarm may have been triggered due to the wearer having an elevated heart rate and making sudden arm movements.

Only the Apple Watch series 4 and 5 have the fall detection feature, which is automatically activated when the user registers that he or she is 65 years old and above. For younger individuals, the option may be enabled manually in the device settings.
