Crossy Road developer Hipster Whale has announced today in a YouTube video that they will be releasing an exclusive game, called Crossy Road Castle for the Apple Arcade.
Crossy Road Castle will have similarities with Crossy Road, a game that was released in 2014. There will be new features- new ways to play, challenges on every castle and collecting coins to spend on items. You can play as a cat, horse, duck, a chicken and more. Local network mode is available with up to 4 players.
Crossy Road Castle appearing on Apple Arcade means it won’t be available on the Android platform. Apple Arcade is a subscription-based game service for $4.99 a month. Users can access more than a hundred games per month in a rotating fashion. Games can be played without an internet connection and on the Mac, Apple TV, iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. There’s no exact release date yet for the game, though developers say it will be available soon.
