Former Hardware Engineering Vice President Laura Legros will be rehired by John Ternus, the next Apple CEO, who will be replacing Tim Cook. Laura managed development schedules, product delivery, and coordination across teams in engineering in the past.
With the new CEO, Laura will be reporting directly to Ternus and will be working throughout different parts of Apple. Laura Legros retired from Apple back in 2022. She presented the MacBook Air in 2018 and the iPad Air in 2020 at previous Apple events.

John Ternus will be taking the reins of Apple as the CEO on September 1, with Tim Cook taking a role as the executive chairman to talk with policymakers globally. In preparation for being the CEO, he has tailed Tim Cook and has taken charge in executive meetings in the company and with leaders to collaborate on product plans.
