Apple Waterside Shops will be showing off its new looks on August 24 with a grand reopening. The Apple Store closed on September 2018 for expansion purposes; on August 24, it will have the latest designs and can accommodate larger ‘Today at Apple’ sessions.
The stainless steel-paneled Apple Store first opened in 2007 under a canopy. The adjacent space and original store have been demolished to make way for a modern facelift, which matches store designs in Texas, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
Southwest Florida customers can now experience an Apple Store with a Forum, complete with a video wall and seating, all of which are needed to facilitate a Today at Apple program.
Apple has been busy updating its Florida stores. Apple Aventura just celebrated a grand reopening this month, and an expansion project for the store in Altamonte Springs is well underway. It’s expected that Apple will be remodeling its stores with video walls and modern designs over the next few years.
