The latest version of Apple’s experimental browser, Safari Technology Preview, has been updated to Preview 223.
The latest Preview 223 software includes improvements for elements such as Web Inspector, Web Extensions, Web API, Text, SVG, Rendering, JavaScript, and CSS. Anyone can download the experimental browser as it doesn’t require a developer account, and the browser can run alongside the public version of Safari. To download, it’s recommended that you visit the official website. For updating, open your existing Safari Technology Preview and go to System Settings or Preferences, then through the ‘Software Update’ button.

Apple launched Safari Technology Preview in March 2016 as a browser to test future functions. From there, users can provide feedback that might make it into public releases. Currently, the Preview update is supported on macOS Tahoe and macOS Sequoia computers. Full release notes are available to view on the official Technology Preview page.
