Apple has recently changed the name of its WWDC app to ‘Apple Developer’ and promises to update content regularly.
The new Apple Developer app’s description has been updated to reflect the changes, giving users ‘in-depth information’ and content such as WWDC happenings, videos, developer news and more.
Moreover, the app may be used as a portal for enrolling in the Apple Developer program though the feature is limited only to the US. Membership is set to auto-renew, which makes it easy to keep your account active. Over time, the program is expected to roll out to other regions and countries.
When searching at the App Store, type in ‘Apple Developer‘ instead of ‘WWDC’ to have the new app show on the list. Users who still have the old version may update to the latest in order to see the new features and Apple Developer interface.
