Apple has put up a special front page feature in light of celebrating the Global Accessibility Awareness Day. The tech giant’s slogan has made mention of how technology makes individuals more empowered to do things. Visitors are encouraged to explore the sites’ accessibility page, which highlights Apple’s commitment to helping users with disabilities on motor skills, literacy, hearing, vision and learning.
There’s also a short video commercial about people with disabilities who use Apple products. Sady Paulson narrates the video using Switch Control. The page also shows other features such as Live Listen and VoiceOver on several devices, including the HomePod, Apple Watch and iPad.
Furthermore, Apple is currently promoting iOS accessibility on the App Store with stories on how developers who create iOS apps help people with disabilities. Notable app names include Ready to Roll, djay, Audible, Strava, Proloquo2Go and others, which are prominently shown on the Today tab for the iPad and iPhone.
