Apple has recently announced that their second Apple Store in Singapore will be at the Jewel Changi Airport. The location’s formal opening is set on July 13 at 10 a.m.
The store is esconced in Jewel, a new retail and entertainment complex within the Changi Airport area. It features 280-plus shops spread out across a five-story structure and an astounding centerpiece in the form of a 40-meter indoor waterfall called the Rain Vortex, which is surrounded by a lush garden.
Apple hasn’t released any other detail regarding the new store, but mentioned to The Straits Times that new programming will be introduced to visitors of the store, including the Magic of Jewel Photo Walk.
Changi is the main airport in Singapore and hosts thousands of travelers daily. There are rumors that Apple will be opening another store in Singapore’s business district at Marina Bay Sands. The first Apple Store that opened in the country was at Knightsbridge Mall in 2017 called Apple Orchard Road.
