Autodesk SketchBook Gets Apple Pencil Support With Update

Autodesk SketchBook, the popular drawing app will finally have Apple Pencil support as well as a few nifty tools for the iPad Pro.

Due to public demand, Autodesk will be bringing the Perspective Guides feature, previously only available for desktop machines to the iOS environment. Also, the Curve Ruler set for drawing sweeps and curves that were impossible to do with the Ellipse tool.

Going back to Apple Pencil, the SketchBook update will have 2nd-gen Apple Pencil support on the 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2018 models, which gives users the ability to draw and make use of the pressure-sensitive brushes, perspective guides, the bendable ruler and other tools, as well as the double tap functionality that provides a quick and convenient switch between the brush and eraser tool.

SketchBook is a free app on the App Store. The update should now be available to download for iPad Pro users.
