Ticketing service provider Paciolan has announced that they plan on bringing Apple Wallet contactless ticket support in sporting events.
With the contactless feature, attendees will now be able to enter stadiums and college games using their Apple Watch or iPhone via NFC. Jennifer Bailey, Apple Pay guru mentioned that college sports fans and students can now have their tickets bought straight from their Apple devices.

Furthermore, Jennifer said that the goal is to replace the physical wallet entirely while bringing convenience and superior security when they buy tickets using their Apple Wallet-enabled devices.
Early adopters will see the tickets they bought within the Messages app, which can be added to Apple Wallet by tapping a link. Tickets should pop right up when the user goes to the stadium.
Contactless tickets should be making their rounds starting fall 2019 for football games at Rutgers University, Georgia Tech, University of Mississippi, Michigan State University, Louisiana State University, and Baylor University.
