Dr. Mario World, Nintendo’s latest venture into the mobile scene is set to arrive July 10 for the iOS and Android.
Many will remember playing Dr. Mario World on older game consoles, and they’ll be delighted to know that they’ll be greeted by the same addictive gameplay on mobile phones. Dr. Mario eliminates different-colored viruses by matching them up with the same-colored pills.
In preparation, Nintendo has launched a website on how interested individuals can play Dr. Mario World when the game launches. It’s a relatively simple match-3 genre with a few twists, including having only a certain number of pills and a scoring system.
At launch, players will have five worlds to explore, and more will come as an update.
Dr. Mario World starts as a free to play game, with options to unlock additional items and stamina using in-game diamonds purchased with real money. Interested individuals can sign up for pre-registration today.
