GameClub Subscription Service Set to Launch in Fall

GameClub is an upcoming game service where users can play 50-plus classic titles for a monthly fee. There’s no specific price model for the subscription yet, but a recent press release says that it will be ‘small’, and that all the included games will have no in-app purchases or ads.

The monthly service seeks to revive classic iOS games that are not being updated anymore. The business model of the company is reviving and updating older App Store games that have been popular in the past.

The games that will be on the service include Super QuickHook, Hook Champ, Incoboto, Plunderland, Mage Gauntlet, Space Miner, Minigore, Legendary Wars, Super Crate Box and more. Interested users can play the titles for free by signing up for the beta testing at the GameClub website.

Apple’s Arcade service is set to be released but there’s no monthly fee or list of games yet.
