Using a desktop or iOS and envious of the fact that Android users have unfettered access to Google Podcasts? Fret not. You can now see and play available podcasts when you use the Google search engine to look for a title.
On desktop computers, all you have to do is type in your podcast and a list of episodes will come up. Clicking on any recent episode will redirect you to podcasts.google.com, regardless of whether you’re on a Mac or PC.
Curiously, a trip to podcasts.google.com won’t do the same thing. To have Google play the podcast episode for you, a search is required to access the Google Podcast interface. If you’re signed on to Google account, your computer should remember it and resume the podcast title where you left off.
The tech giant has mentioned that your search will soon have podcast episodes that are tied to what you’re looking for. This leads to better variety and all-around search discovery for Google users.
