A disagreement on the exact color of the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro Max coming in Dark Cherry is currently ongoing. Fixed Focus Digital, a well-known leaker, has shared their opinion on the exact look of the Dark Cherry color that will be released next month.
A mock image of two versions for the color was shared with one being darker and one being lighter with the Weibo user claiming that the darker mock version was the right one, and said it will be near purple red instead of bright red.
Rumors were circulating that Apple was planning for a special color for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, similar to how the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro max’s special color was orange. For the upcoming model it was called Dark Cherry, described as a red that looks like wine.
The foldable iPhone is expected to be premiered by Apple alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models in September.
