The 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro and iPhone X have been declared Obsolete by Apple, adding the products to the list of obsolete products. The iPhone X was launched in November 2017; it was the first iPhone to feature Face ID and an OLED display. It had a premium design with a stainless steel frame and a glass back. It had an edge-to-edge screen with the front camera and sensors for Face ID as a notch.
When an iPhone is declared obsolete, the device is no longer qualified for hardware services such as repairs in Apple Authorized Service Stores and Apple Stores. A product is considered obsolete 7 years after its last distribution. The iPhone X was pulled out in September of 2018. Certain resellers will have the device for a bit longer.
The last big update for the software of the iPhone X was iOS 16.
