A new leak has surfaced online about the upcoming iPhone 17 lineup’s memory capacity.
A user with the handle ‘Fixed Focus Digital’ recently posted on Weibo that the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the iPhone 17 Air will have 12GB of memory. The base model iPhone 17 will have a lower memory capacity at just 8GB. Currently, the iPhone 16 lineup has 8GB of memory across all models. The latest news coincides with other reports about the upcoming iPhone lineup in terms of RAM.
The first claim about the memory for the iPhone 17 smartphones came from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who said that the iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17 Pro will have 12GB of RAM. At this time, Kuo said that it’s probable that the base model would have 8 or 12GB, depending on supply constraints. The iPhone 17 is expected to debut this fall.
