Videos and photos have surfaced on social media claiming to display circuitry of the upcoming foldable iPhone. A photo and short video were posted by LusiRoy7 on X, showing the components for the supposed foldable iPhone.
Baidu, a Chinese forum, had a diagram from MIJING, a repair parts vendor, that shows the same parts as in the post on X. The diagram from MIJING uses repair industry component numbering in Chinese.
The foldable iPhone is expected to be unveiled alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models on September 9 for the yearly iPhone event. The device will feature a 7.8-inch inner and 5.5-inch outer display, an 18MP selfie for both the inner and outer display, and a 48MP dual rear camera system with the A20 chip.
The foldable iPhone is estimated to have a price tag of $2,000 or higher.
