Streaming service Locast has recently announced that their service can now be streamed on Android TV and Apple TV devices.

NY Sports Fans Coalition chairman David Goodfriend says that the move to bring Locast to more devices was sparked by small donations and support for the streaming service. Previously, Locast is compatible with the Hopper, Roku, iOS, Android and several popular web browsers.

Furthermore, Goodfriend states that they hope to bring the TV streaming service to more markets this year. The non-profit organization recently added Baltimore and Washington, DC to its list of markets following Houston, Denver, Philadelphia, Dallas, Chicago, Boston and New York.

Locast started offering TV streaming to individuals who have an internet connection at the start of 2018. The not-for-profit service claims that several hundred thousand subscribers have signed on since launch, but their biggest concern as of today is funding. To stream broadcast TV itself is free, but users can donate any amount to the organization.
