Samsung Display is going to be the exclusive supplier for the MacBook Pro with OLED display that Apple is going to be making. The OLED panels that are measured at 14 and 16 inches will be manufactured at the 8.6 Samsung Generation OLED Line based in Asan, Korea.
Mass production is anticipated to be starting next month, with initial supply for the OLED panels amounting to 2.5 million. BOE Technology and LG Display were not in consideration for the company’s plans because of efficiency and yield issues.

The MacBook Pro is expected to have a significant refresh, featuring an OLED panel with touch-screen capabilities. It will be powered by the M5 Max and Pro chip, a thinner design, and is going to have a Dynamic Island. The device could also be above the MacBook Pro model rumored to be given the Ultra Brand.
