For months now it has been rumored that Apple will release a reworked MacBook Pro at its Apple event. The big news assumed to be is the bigger 16-inch display with a higher resolution and improved colors.
As the September 10th “Special Event” approaches, the big question now is whether the company will release the product this month or at its usual October event for Macs & iPads.
The big headline at the September 10th event will definitely be the new iPhones; the company is expected to launch three new iPhones. The new addition this year apparently will be a “Pro” iPhone model like the Macs and iPads we have seen in the past. It would be a new sub-section in the iPhone lineup if Apple does release a Pro iPhone.
The features that will make the iPhone Pro stand-out, according to various reports, would be a large screen, more cameras on the rear, and nifty little software features like editing video while recording.
So one hand, it seems like Apple could use the September 10th event to announce its new MacBook Pro along with the iPhone Pro and show-off how both the devices work better together.
MacBook Pro
The 16 inch MacBook Pro will supposedly start at a price higher than $3,000 making it strictly a product for professionals. For comparison, the 13 inch MacBook Pro starts at $1,1999 and the 15-inch starts at $1,799.
Also, the new 16” MacBook Pro will reportedly sport a completely reworked keyboard which will be more durable and sturdy compared to the current generation butterfly mechanism keyboard.
The current generation MacBooks are plagued with many issues – the keyboard is unreliable, the displays on the MacBook Pro (2018 models) reportedly have had issues and there have thermal issues as well.
Will Apple release the new MacBook Pro at its September 10th event? 50/50.
