Apple has added a few content categories to its Podcasts app for the iOS to improve content discovery and browsing experience.

Podcasts users will now see a horizontally-aligned list of categories under the Browse tab within the ‘Browse by Category’ section, including TV & Film, True Crime, Technology, Sports, Society & Culture, Science, Religion & Spirituality, News, Music, Leisure, Kids & Family, History, Health & Fitness, Government, Fiction, Education, Comedy, Business and Arts.
You can also browse by New and Top Shows, with a few listings having a drop-down into additional sub-sections. For instance, Science now has Mathematics, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences sub-categories.
Furthermore, categories that have no sub-category listings have curated rows, e.g., the Shows within the Technology page. Apple has revealed in WWDC that the Podcasts app will have enhanced curation and top-level categories. Mac users will experience the changes as soon as the rollout is finished.
