Apple has dedicated a section for AirPods during the WWDC 2019. In one keynote, the firm has mentioned that they will be adding features such as being able to share audio with two pairs of connected AirPods and having Siri read incoming messages without the need to look it up in your iPhone.
On the preview pages and event presentation, Apple has specifically mentioned AirPods; even in the beta iOS 13, the feature states that Siri reads incoming messages through AirPods when they’re connected.
Powerbeats Pro users won’t have to worry about their devices being left in the dust as it will support the Siri messaging feature as well. In fact, all headphones with the H1 chip (as Powerbeat Pro has) will gain the ‘Announce Messages w/ Siri’ capability as soon as it becomes available.
It’s expected that the wrinkles will be ironed out by the time iOS 13 is released this fall.
