Samsung has unveiled its first HyperFast Galaxy S10 5G phone. The Galaxy S10 5G is certainly unlike the other, It’s a bit bigger, much more powerful. the phone will be Samsung’s top-of-the-line phone, that goes on sale later this year.

The Features that distinguish Galaxy S10 5G from other devices, is the fact that it is an only supercharged version of the Galaxy S10 Plus with integrated support for next-generation 5G cellular networks. The device includes 6.7-inch Infinity-O screen, an extra camera lens on the back and 4,500-milliamp battery, which is larger than the 4,100-milliamp battery packed into the Galaxy S10 Plus.

Galaxy S10 5G

5G technology is anticipated to remarkably increase wireless network speed, coverage and responsiveness. Galaxy S10 5G will support both millimetre wave (28GHz and 39GHz) and sub-6GHz 5G frequencies It can perform 10 to 100 times faster download speeds than standard 4G LTE connection. And the latency or the time network take to respond to a request can also be faster on 5G than anything you can get into your home with a physical fibre optic cable. This indicates that devices can connect as quickly as a millisecond to the network and start downloading or uploading.

Galaxy S10 5G

The Galaxy S10 5G will exclusively be launched by Verizon Wireless in the US and later become available in the summer to other U.S. carriers. Besides AT&T, Sprint, and T – Mobile, Samsung says it will be available on the shared networks of Spectrum Mobile and Xfinity Mobile that have not yet announced 5G plans.

Samsung also announced that the 5G connectivity of the device will also be supported by eight carriers in six European countries:

  • Vodafone (UK)
  • EE (UK)
  • Sunrise (Switzerland)
  • Swisscom (Switzerland)
  • Deutsche Telekom (Germany)
  • Orange (France)
  • TIM (Italy)
  • Telefonica (Spain)

Samsung has not announced yet the cost of the Galaxy S10 5G but it is expected to cost more than the Galaxy S10 Plus. That phone starts at $1,000 for 128GB of storage. the company has not fixed a precise date for the launch of the Galaxy S10 5G. However, as per the company announcement, it will be available first on Verizon’s network in the second quarter of this year.

A large part of the engineers at Siri are sent to a bootcamp for a multi-week session to learn to code with the use of AI, the company has made the choice to teach their engineers to use AI efficiently for coding before WWDC, where Apple is widely anticipated to be finally revealing the long awaited revamped Siri. As employees will attend the bootcamp, about 60 members on the development team for Siri will stay to work on the AI while an extra 60 will perform evaluations on Siri’s performance, Apple will perform tests to ensure that Siri meets safety standards and ensure it is capable of executing and interpreting commands made by users. Using AI with coding has become the standard in today's modern day and age. The Siri team at Apple looks to not be making the most out of the AI coding tools at their disposal, leading to them pushing some to a bootcamp to use AI efficiently for coding.
