The California face is one of the newest additions watchOS 6 will bring to the Apple Watch Series 4. Like other incoming face designs, California will be highly customizable according to your preference and style.
Apple’s newest watch face borrows from traditional watch-making design. Instead of numbers that tell the time, a mix of Arabic and Roman numerals are displayed in an analog manner.
The California dial consists of Roman signs from 10 to 2 o’clock and Arabic signs from 4 to 8 o’clock. The numbers 3, 6 and 9 are replaced with dashes, and at the 12 o’clock position stands an inverted triangle.
Come launch time, Apple Watch Series 4 users can choose between white, off-white, black or blue backgrounds, Hindi, Arabic, Roman, California, pills or numbers and a circular or full-screen style. All in all, Apple offers 6 styles with two distinctive options for countless personal design opportunities.
watchOS 6 is set to be made available to the public this fall.
