Samsung Smart TVs that were made in 2019 and 2018 models with the latest firmware update can now access iTunes TV shows and movies, Apple TV channels and support AirPlay 2 in line with the iOS 12.3 update.
Samsung mentions that both AirPlay 2 and the TV app are viewable in more than a hundred countries on the Samsung TV, making them the first manufacturer to offer support for the app. Users will now have more than a hundred thousand movies and TV shows to choose from in the iTunes platform, with some content being available in stunning 4K resolution.

Moreover, Apple users can now watch previously bought content on Samsung Smart TVs without having to get an Apple set-top box. In the same vein, iTunes content from a Mac, iPad or iPhone can now be streamed to a Samsung Smart TV via Airplay 2 on selected 2018 and 2019 models.
Samsung also claims that the TV app should work seamlessly with Smart TV services such as Search, Bixby and Universal Guide for a more consistent experience.
